Peter Quillin made another successful defense of his WBO middleweight title, but he wasn't impressive against Lukas Konecny on Saturday night.

But there's also a few attractive options for Quillin who aren't Haymon guys, namely a matchup with Curtis Stevens.

Main Events matchmaker Jolene Mizzone informed BoxingScene.com on Saturday night, via text, that they contacted Golden Boy Promotions, Quillin's promoter, about a possible fight with Stevens.

"After (the Patrick) Majewski fight that Monday I sent (Golden Boy matchmaker) Eric Gomez a email saying let's do Quillin vs. Stevens. He replied that he likes that fight and he said he will send it up flag pole and get back to me.

"I replied to him great send it up the flag pole but can't have options," she continued. "Never got response. Have no problem with options if it's best for our fighter but when Curtis beat Quillin couldn't have him in same place as Quillin with no opponents. That wouldn't be smart."

Stevens ended up fighting Tureano Johnson earlier this month, scoring a stoppage victory.
