Former champion Marcos Maidana (35-5, 31KOs) is still relaxing and enjoying the time he is spending with his family. Maidana spoke with the Argentinian media at the Quorum Hotel.
Maidana had a very successful 2014, with two high profile pay-per-view fights against WBC/WBA welterweight champion Floyd Mayweather Jr., who won twelve round decisions in both meetings.
Regarding his future, Maidana is staying tight-lipped until he meets with his team in early 2015.
"Next year we will sit down with my team to discuss my future," Maidana said.
Maidana says he is not currently itching to fight, but says he wouldn't mind a big fight in 2015 with WBO welterweight champion Manny Pacquiao, because Maidana says Pacquiao will "fight and not run."
