Marcos Maidana (35-4, 31KOs) is promising to be more calm when he faces WBC/WBA welterweight champion Floyd Mayweather Jr. (46-0, 26KOs) in a rematch on September 13th at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.

This time he doesn't want to waste too many punches. He wants every punch to count.

"I was very anxious to go out and knock him out. I believe if I stay calm, use the proper distance....everything will be fine [in the rematch]. That, and throwing more accurate punches. Right now I'm very happy, I'm training very well, doing good sparring and I'm very focused," Maidana said. "We've doing a little bit of everything in the gym, we are practicing a lot. I have a lot of confidence in myself, in my team. We all have so much to gain and little to lose."
