Marcos Maidana (34-3, 31KOs) has fired back at WBA welterweight champion Adrien Broner (27-0, 24KOs). Earlier today, Broner attacked his critics and then tooks some shots at Maidana and his Argentine countryman Lucas Matthysse. Golden Boy Promotions would like to match Broner and Maidana in November. Matthysse challenges Broner's friend, WBA/WBA junior welterweight champion Danny Garcia, on September 14th at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.

"I see a lot of people hating on me and my decisions. Well listen, I ain't perfect but I know one thing I'm UNDEFEATED and young and on top. I'm on one of the biggest tours this year. I'm blessed..... I love my haters and the ones who love me. You're a damn fool if you think Maidana can beat me. And when I'm done when this b*tch Maidana, I'm [going to] go f*** Matthysse up," Broner vented.

Maidana doesn't want to waste his time with a verbal battle. He wants to exchange punches in the ring.

"I'm gone for a couple of days on Twitter and Adrien Broner has already opened his big mouth again. Shut your mouth and sign the contract so we could fight, my friend," Maidana hit back.
