Former cruiserweight champion Enzo Maccarinelli (28-2, 21KOs) has no idea when his planned return is scheduled to come off. He was set face unbeaten Jonathon Banks (20-0, 14KOs) for the vacant WBO title in July, the date was moved to September, and now the fight has once again been pushed, but this time Macca has no idea when or where the fight will land.

Macca has not seen action since the two-round loss to David Haye back in March. The Banks fight is scheduled to take place in the UK, and is contracted to receive 60% of $450,000 purse due his number-one ranking by the WBO. Macca, part of the Enzo Calzaghe stable, hopes the fight will happen in October or November in Cardiff.

"It's massively frustrating. I was meant to be boxing in July, and then September but I'm professional and know these things do happen," Macca told BBC Sport. "Frank Warren and Sports Network have won the fight and they are discussing TV dates for when the fight can take place. No venue has been set either and the September date definitely won't be happening."

"I'm guessing because it is a Frank Warren fight it'll be in Cardiff but again nothing is certain. It's been a long time since I last fought and I just want to get back in the ring. I've been fit and ready since July, and Jonathan Banks is going to get the end of my frustration. He's going to get knocked out."
