IT'S OFFICIAL - March 14 Rumours International Toowoomba. Undefeated former Australian Olympic Captain Luke 'Action' Jackson will take on Toowoomba's 'Iron' Will Young for the Australian featherweight title.
Both fighter's managers, Brendon Smith (Will Young) and Adam Wilcock(Luke Jackson) didn't take long too agree to terms.
"It was any easy negotiation process," Brendon Smith said.
"Adam and I needed no more than one day to sign seal and deliver this bout.
"We both knew the respective fighters wanted the fight so it was a matter of us finalising a few minor details.
"The ironic part is Luke didn't need to go to the Toowoomba Chronicle to get our attention, this is a bout we've had on the radar for six months.
"However credit to Luke and Adam, they've put their money where their mouths are and this fight is going to happen and I think it has the potential to be the domestic fight of the year 2015," Smith said.
Luke Jackson is regarded as one of the countries hottest prospects. He is a golden boy of Australian boxing.
As a pro - he's perfect, undefeated in seven bouts.
As an amateur he represented Australia at the 2006 and 2010 Commonwealth Games.
At the 2006 Games in Melbourne he won bronze and in 2010 he was bestowed with the honour of captaining the Australian team.
He also represented Australia at the 2012 London Olympics and again received the highest accolade - named team captain.
Overall he finished with an amateur record of 113 wins and 32 losses.

"This is a fight I know I can win," Will Young said.
"I have massive respect for Luke Jackson, he's a really good boxer and I want to be the first loss on his record.
"I believe he will be thinking more about losing his unblemished record than I am about losing the title and when you're fighting a man who isn't afraid to lose you have a real battle on your hands and that's what he'll have with me.
"It should be a great spectator fight, I wont have to look to find Luke, he'll be in front of me all night.
"I'm the Australian Champion and the belt means everything to me,.
"It will mean more to me to successfully defend this title against Luke Jackson than it did when I won it against Emmanuel Micallef - I'm a fighting champion.

"I probably need to thank Luke Jackson.
"He stopped me from over indulging over the Christmas period.
"Like most people in Toowoomba, I wake up and I read the Chronicle and on Monday as soon as I saw Luke Jackson's comments, I cancelled any new year's eve celebrations and rang Brendon and asked if I could start training immediately," Young said.
Brendon Smith added.
"When Will phoned me asking me if we could train - I said great, when do you want to start.
"In typical Will Young fashion he replied - how bout right now?
"Within fifteen minutes I arrived at the gym and here's Will standing at the door ready to go.
"I can see the look in Will's eyes - he wants this one bad.
"No doubts it's a tough fight but it's a fight I firmly believe Will can win," Brendon Smith said.
