Super featherweight prospect Luis "El Artisano" Cruz (19-1) was scheduled to return to the ring tomorrow at The Plaza Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, NV against Gerardo Robles of Kansas. Cruz injured his ankle during training for what would have been his first fight since suffering his only defeat which was against Juan Carlos Burgos on the Manny Pacquiao-Juan Manuel Marquez 3 pay-per-view undercard last November.

"I don't know for sure when my next fight will be. As you know I was supposed to fight tomorrow but I hurt my ankle. It's nothing too serious but I had to stop training for a couple weeks," Cruz told BoxingScene.com.

"I hope to be back in the ring as soon as possible. Hopefully I can fight in June," Cruz said.
