The fight was officially announced at the Fantastic Casino. The card, which promoters are calling "The Return of the Warrior," will feature the return of the former flyweight champion of the World Boxing Association, Panamanian boxer Luis 'El Nica' Conception (22-2, 17KOs). The card is going to take place at on August 11th at the Arena Roberto Duran in Panama City.
Concepcion has been away from the ring since he was stopped by Mexico's Hernan "Tyson" Marquez on April 2 of this year. Concepcion is not taking the easy road back. His comeback opponent is going to be Colombia's Cesar Canchila (30-3, 23KOs), who does have power in both hands and has the recognition of being the only man to defeat current champion Giovanni Segura. Canchila decisioned Segura over twelve rounds in 2008, but the Mexican boxer evened the score in the rematch with a four round knockout.
