Luis “Nica” Concepción (30-3, 22KOs) has won the “Boxer of the Year" award in Panama, announced his proud Manager Rogelio Espiño.  Espiño said that his pupil has had a brave and great comeback, after he suffering back to back knockout defeats to Hernan "Tyson" Marquez in 2011. Concepcion has won seven fights in a row and has the WBC's silver flyweight crown. The voting to chose Nica as the best boxer of the year took place at the Boxing Commission in Panama.
