Italy's Luca Giacon (18-0, 17 KOs), 23-years-old, will defend his EBU-EU lightweight title against Krzysztof Szot (15-1-1, 5 KOs) on March 3rd. The fight will take place in Italy. Szot was knocked out in four rounds by Felix Lora in June, but came back to decision Beka Sadjaia in October. Giacon, born in Spain, but eventually moved over to Italy after nine pro fights, has a steady stream of knockout victories. Only one opponent has been able to make it to the distance, Felix Soria, previously undefeated, in a six round bout. Szot was knocked out in four rounds by Felix Lora in June, but came back to decision Beka Sadjaia in October.
