On September 9th, HBO will televise a show featuring a trio of super flyweight bouts that is headlined by the rematch between WBC titlist Srisaket Sor Rungvisai and challenger Roman 'Chocolatito' Gonzalez.

The card will be supported by the all-Mexican battle between Carlos Caudras and Juan Francisco Estrada and the Stateside debut of the highly regarded WBO belt-holder, Nayao Inoue from Japan.

Tom Loeffler, the managing director of K2 Promotions, who put this card together is now in the process of finding a venue for this show.

"A lot of excitement for that since we announced it," he told BoxingScene.com on Thursday evening at the Avalon Hollywood where the final leg of the Saul Alvarez-Gennady Golovkin press tour was staged.

"We're still sorting out what we're doing with this fight, here (Alvarez-Golovkin) on September 16th, searching out where we can go. A lot of fans want it in L.A., a lot of fans want it in (Las)Vega, a lot of fans want it in Texas. So lets see where we can sort out. I think by next week we'll have an announcement."

Clouding the issue for Los Angeles hosting this event is that on that same day there is the possibility of the rematch between Leo Santa Cruz and Abner Mares taking place at the Staples Center on Showtime. Loeffler has put a hold on the StubHub Center in Carson.

"Again, we can't really focus on what we do with projections of other shows so we'll see what happens,' 'stated Loeffler. "The L.A. market is really the perfect place for it. HBO would like it in L.A. but we'll see what we can put together."
