Sheffield’s Liam Cameron turned pro with an impressive win over Matt Scriven in Sheffield last month and the 19-year-old boxer then briefly turned his attention to the fashion world.  Cameron has modelled for Prada and has signed on for some work with Vogue.  This particular one-two will raise a few well-sculpted eyebrows in the world of professional boxing.

Liam, though, has told The Daily Express that he is fully committed to the sport of boxing.  “I love doing what I do in the ring.  The modelling is just something I like doing in my spare time,” revealed Cameron.

“But let’s face it, if someone offered you a free trip to Madrid, all expenses paid, anyone would snap it up.  It’s just a bit of fun. Boxing is where I want to make a name for myself.  I do like working in the model industry, but whether I look like this when I finish boxing has to be in doubt.”

Cameron dazzled in his debut fight; his opponent, Matt Scriven, told BoxingScene that Liam could go all the way to the top.  The two-time ABA winner is out again this weekend, he is scheduled to box Ryan Clarke, 1-2-2, on Fight Academy’s Sunday afternoon show at the Octagon, Sheffield; for ticket info phone 0114 256 0550.
