Santa Cruz said that he didn't have an opponent lined up yet but that he hopes to face the best opponent available.
"I am just waiting on my next opponent. Hopefully we get whoever wins between Frampton and Martinez, or Quigg, Rigondeaux. Whoever the fans want, I am ready,"
said Santa Cruz.
The Southern California resident said that the rematch between Carl Frampton and Kiko Martinez is too close to call but that he expects another good fight.
"It is a good fight. The first fight was a close fight but Frampton got it. I think this will be another good fight," Santa Cruz stated.
