Former undisputed heavyweight champion Lennox Lewis is starting to get a bit angered at Vitali Klitschko, holder of the WBC title. He wants the Ukranian champion to stop mentioning his name, to stop dreaming about a rematch and to go out and build his own legacy. Lewis says if Vitali wants to fight him so bad, he should go out and fight his younger brother first. He says is Vitali meets younger brother Wladimir, who holds the WBO/IBF titles, he would consider returning to fight him. Lewis knows the two brothers will never fight.

Lewis sees no reason for another fight, he already beat Vitali in 2003, when the fight was stopped due to serious facial cuts on Vitali's face. He says Vitali has to look for another challenge and leave him alone. Lewis has been retired since their 2003 fight and says Vitali is trying to take advantage of his inactivity.

“I will consider coming out of retirement when Wladimir boxes his brother. If they box each other then I'll consider it. Tell him [Vitali] to stop dreaming about me. It's not a dream, it happened. Those cuts he suffered were due to my punches. He caught me at the end of my career, now he wants me after nearly six years of retirement,” Lewis told The Times .

Lewis says it's not his fault that Vitali stayed away from the ring for almost four years and returned to find an empty heavyweight division with no stars. He says the Klitschko brothers want him to return for their own selfish reasons, and not for the good of boxing.

"Tell him to work and get his own glory,” Lewis said. “I've already sealed my legacy, now it is up to him to seal his legacy and do everything I did to accomplish mine. Vitali's got to beat everybody who's out there. It's not my fault that he came back after four years and when he looks around there's only his brother to fight. They still consider me the best heavyweight out there. I'm the last great heavyweight. Obviously they want me for their own selfish reasons, it's as simple as that.”

Lewis also made jokes about the rumors of him training for a ring return, rumors that members of Vitali's camp told media members.

“Me and my son are running in the morning. He's four years old, so I don't have far to run,” Lewis said.
