Middleweight banger David Lemieux (33-2, 31KOs) of Canada was swarmed with questions following the ten round beating he gave to Gabe Rosadao last Saturday night at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York.
The main question he was asked, over and over again, was whether or not he would face WBA/IBO/WBC-interim middleweight champion Gennady "GGG" Golovkin (31-0, 28KOs).
But eventually Lemieux grew tired of the GGG questions, because he feels there are plenty of good fights for him at 160 outside of Golovkin - like Miguel Cotto, Peter Quillin and Danny Jacobs.
"I don't know why you guys are so obsessed with Triple G," Lemieux said. "There are a lot of great middleweights out there. Whoever it is, I'm ready to fight anybody at 160. Triple G is a great fighter, but there are a lot of great fighters out there [at 160] and I think that I'm part of them. We got Quillin, we got a lot of great middleweights out there."
