Later tonight, WBO middleweight world champion Billy Joe Saunders (25-0, 12 KOs) will defend the title against his most dangerous opponent to date, former IBF beltholder David Lemieux (38-3, 33 KOs).

The fight headlines an HBO televised tripleheader from Place Bell in Laval, Quebec, Canada.

The evening's co-main event will feature Antoine "Action" Douglas (22-1-1, 16 KOs) against Gary "Spike" O'Sullivan (26-2, 18 KOs) for the WBO Intercontinental Middleweight title while Cletus "Hebrew Hammer" Seldin (21-0, 17 KOs) will face off against Yves Ulysse, Jr. (14-1, 9 KOs) in the opener of the HBO card.

Lemieux is very accustomed to knocking his opponents out in very rapid fashion. 

Earlier this year, he brutally knocked out Curtis Stevens in New York. The hook Lemieux landed would send Stevens down and fully out in a Knockout of The Year contender.

Lemieux realizes that Saunders has a good chin and it might be tough to knock him out. The one thing the Canadian puncher does guarantee is Saunders hitting the deck at some point in the contest.

"I've never said that I doubted his chin. Regardless he will hit the floor. And whether I win by knock out or go 12 rounds, it's no matter. But I will drop him and I will hurt him," Lemieux said.

According to Lemieux, he's received a lot of support from UK fans. He claims that a high volume of British fight fans have contacted him, hoping that he blasts Saunders out.

"There are a lot of fans in England who've written to me because they don't like Saunders, and they want me to get rid of him. I'll do everyone a favor, I'll take care of him," Lemieux said.

The winner of the fight will be sitting in a very good position, as most of the top middleweights are now aligned with HBO - including Daniel Jacobs, Demetrius Andrade, middleweight champion Gennady Golovkin and Mexican superstar Canelo Alvarez.
