I had a feeling that with all the training camp problems Bojado had to face when his trainer Floyd Mayweather, Sr. no-showed his training camp for this fight, that Bojado would not be fully ready for this fight.

The almost 40 year old Jesse James Leija upsets one of boxing's biggest prospects, Francisco Bojado by a split decision over ten rounds. The scores were 96-93, 95-94 for Leija and 95-94 for Bojado.

It appeared that Bojado was just not into this fight, he was very out of it and rarely threw more then one punch at a time.

Leija threw his right hand and just never seemed to miss the face of Leija. Bojado dropped Leija in the second round with a big left hook and seemed to be back in the fight after Leija took a strong first.

Leija took over in round three and never seemed to take a step back. He hurt Bojado with bodyshots, made Bojado miss and beat Bojado against the ropes.

I think Bojado's stock is dropping to the level of a Michael Grant, too much hype without enough delivery in return. Bojado has now lost to two fighters that he should of beat without problems and got whooped in both defeats. Bojado should really rethink his boxing career and see if he is really serious about this sport.
