Following Andy Lee's fifth-round stoppage of Alejandro Falliga in Limerick, Ireland, trainer and manager Emanuel Steward told the live television audience on RTE that he is in talks for Lee (15-0, 12KOs) to fight the winner of Kelly Pavlik's upcoming middleweight title defense against "Irish" John Duddy on June 7.

Pavlik has a non-title rematch with Jermain Taylor at a catch-weight of 166-pounds on February 16. Win or lose, Pavlik will still be the WBC/WBO middleweight champ and will probably move forward with Duddy for June 7. Duddy takes on Walid Smichet on the undercard to Klitschko-Ibragimov on Feb. 23 at New York's Madison Square Garden.

Steward would like the title shot to take place in the late part of 2008. Lee is scheduled to return to the ring on February 29 in Michigan and then returns on March 21 against Brian Vera in the main event of an ESPN televised card from the Mohegan Sun.
