P 3 Boxing in Finland, headed by Pekka Maeki, will stage their first event of the new season on September 23 in Helsinki. In the main fights - Giuseppe Lauri (52-7, 31KOs) will finally - after several postponements - take on Denis Shafikov (26-0-1, 15KOs) for the vacant EBU jr. welterweight title and ticketseller Juho Haapoja (15-2-1, 10KOs) faces Frenchman Faisal Ibnel Arrami (13-2, 9KOs) for the vacant EU belt at cruiserweight.
Jr. welterweight Edis Tatli and super middleweight Niko Jokinen are featured on the undercard.
If Norwegian TV steps in there might be a third title fight on the bill as featherweight Andreas Evensen is ready to fight for a vacant IBF regional title. The press in Norway have already announced that Evensen - in case he wins a fight that´s not even on yet - will get a shot at IBF featherweight king Billy Dib.
