Latin Fury Full Weights: Sam Peter in Great Shape

By Mark Vester

Former WBC heavyweight champion Sam Peter has changed his outlook and appears to be serious about turning his career around. Peter took the scales and weighed in at 243-pounds for his fight against Marcus McGee on Saturday's undercard to Latin Fury 10 in Mexico. The last time Peter weighed 243-pounds was in 2005 when he lost a spirited twelve round decision to Wladimir Klitschko. He weighed 265-pounds for his decision loss to Eddie Chambers in March, and for the last few years his weight has been averaged in the range of 255. The fight will be Peter's first since signing a deal with Top Rank.
