Former heavyweight contender Larry Donald, 44, says he is back in training for a fight in October, which will be his first since 2007. The former title-challenger Donald (42-5-3, 24 KO) of Cincinnati, Ohio says that no opponent has been selected but that it will take place in Miami, Fla.

Donald, a 1992 US Olympian, had his last significant victory in 2004 when he dominated Evander Holyfield to a decision victory. Donald dropped decisions to current titlist Alexander Povetkin and Nikolay Valuev in his last two fights.
