WBA 'regular'/IBO junior middleweight champion Erislandy Lara (21-2-2, 12 KO) dominated the action on Friday night, winning an easy twelve round unanimous decision over Delvin Rodriguez at the UIC Pavilion in Chicago. The fight headlined a Premier Boxing Champions on Spike TV.

Now Lara is ready for a big fight and he would like to get in the ring with WBA/IBO Gennady "GGG" Golovkin at the middleweight limit of 160-pounds or a rematch with Mexican superstar Saul "Canelo" Alvarez.

"I'll fight either one. I want to make money for my family. With Canelo, I would break his mouth again, and while it is true that Golovkin is strong he also displays many holes in the ring. I can beat both of them," Lara told George Ebro.

Lara lost a close split decision to Canelo last July. He still feels the judges robbed him of a victory. The next they meet, if ever, Lara says he won't allow the contest to head to the scorecards.

"Above everything, you can not leave the result of a fight in the hands of the judges. I do not think about changing my style, but I need to be more accurate and active with each specific opponent," Lara said.
