Lara Decisions Gray, Korobov Destroys Bartinelli

On the undercard of Manny Pacquiao-Ricky Hatton at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, junior middleweight/middleweight prospect Erislandy Lara (5-0, 3KOs) boxed his way to a one-sided four round decision over Chris Gray (11-8, 1KOs). Lara dominated Gray, who stayed very defensive and took no chances. The scores were 40-36 across the board.

Middleweight prospect Matt Korobov (5-0, 5KOs) stopped Anthony Bartinelli (20-13-2, 13KOs) in two rounds. He battered Bartinelli in the first round, then dropped him in the second after a combination of punches. Korobov then jumped on him and put him away with a two-handed assault as the ref jumped in to stop the fight.
