Following Friday's dominating ten round decision over Danny Perez (99-91 on all three scorecards) at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, junior middleweight prospect Erislandy Lara told BoxingScene.com that he was pleased with his performance and credited his new trainer, Ronnie Shields, as the reason behind the dominating effort.
He recently began working with Shields at the Savannah Boxing Club in Houston, Texas. Lara said he noticed the improvements Shields has made and looks forward to a long relationship by advancing his career with the Houston, Texas-based trainer.
