Adopted Spaniard Alejandro Lakatos has vowed to light up Liverpool like Fernando Torres when he fights Nathan Cleverly.
The former world title challenger meets Welsh hot-shot Cleverly on December 11 at the Echo Arena where the Interim WBO World light-heavyweight title will be at stake.
And Lakatos has taken inspiration from the comeback of fellow countryman Torres.
El Nino netted twice at the weekend to keep Liverpool's recovery on track and sink title holders Chelsea 2-0.
"Torres had Liverpool on its feet at the weekend, and I'll do the same when I fight Cleverly," said Lakatos.
"He's an overhyped jumped-up kid who will be exposed for what he is on December 11, and I'll give him a double just like Torres - a one, two that will knock him out.
"I've seen Cleverly's fight against Karo Murat, and if he stands in front of me like that he'll be in big trouble. I'll punish him."
Born in Romania but now fighting out of Madrid, Lakatos has 31 and has twice fought for the WBO world light-heavyweight title.
"It will definitely be a case of third time lucky against Cleverly," said Lakatos.
"I've been close to glory before, but this time my dream of winning a world title is about to come true.
"I'm sure that I will get booed into the Echo Arena, but by the time I've finished with Cleverly the crowd will be on their feet and cheering me."
