It's been announced that Fitness Boxing Gym on Fukuoka Island will host the fight between WBC strawweight champion Yuko Kuroki (11-4-1, 6KO), who's twenty three years old, against Mexico fighter Katia ”Katty” Gutierrez 19-4, 4KOs, aged twenty five.
Kuroki became WBC champion by defeating Mari Ando by unanimous decision, in Osaka Japan. Kuroki will put her title up for grabs on November 1st. Katia previously held the IBF's version of the title. She lost a close pitched battle last year, by split decision, to Irma Sanchez.
