Promoter Andrey Ryabinskiy of “World of Boxing” Promotions, who guides no less than four top-ten cruiserweights (according to Transnational Boxing Rankings Board), is confident that local kayo artist Dmitry Kudryashov (18-0, 18 KOs) is the next one to become a world champion. Kudryashov boxes next on November 4 in Kazan, Russia.
“It’s no doubt that Dima will be a world champion. We are currently raising him in the ranks. As soon as he gets closer to becoming a mandatory challenger, we shall look for a title fight. We are okay with being voluntary challengers for the belts but unfortunately no one wants to fight us. No matter how much money is offered, they keep telling us: 'Sorry, you have this guy with iron hands; he knocks everyone in the first round.' And we can’t get them," said Ryabinskiy to R-Sport.
“We have almost found an opponent for Dmitry’s next bout. But a contract hasn’t been signed yet, so I won’t disclose his name. We shall announce it during a coming month”, added Ryabinskiy.
Independent sources - outside of “World of Boxing” - have rumored at least one name, and it was Olanrewaju Durudola (20-2, 18 KOs).
However, Ryabinskiy has another fight in sight for the WBC #2, WBO #4 and WBA/IBF #6 Russian 200lber.
“Yeah, we have started negotiations with WBO champion Krzysztof Glowacki of Poland, who has just defeated Marco Huck and dethroned him, regarding a possible fight with Dmitry," said Ryabinskiy.
