WBC cruiserweight champion Krzysztof Wlodarczyk (44-2-1, 32 KOs) is moving around on crutches, having recently undergone knee surgery. It does not bother him, however, in preparing for a mandatory fight against Francisco Palacios (20-0, 13 KOs). The fight happens on April 2. He says the surgery, which happened in December, will not hamper with his training for the fight.

"I get tired more mentally, because the fight draws closer, and I am not yet fully operational. Fortunately, my supervisor and coaches remain calm, so I am also quiet," the champion said.
