According to Polish media, WBC cruiserweight champion Krzysztof Wlodarczyk (49-2-1, 35 KOs) could possibly make his next defense of the title in the fall, in the Unites States, against perennial contender and NBC Sports commentator BJ Flores (28-1-1, 18 KOs). The fight is reportedly being discussed between Wlodarczyk's promoter Andrzej Wasilewski and powerful manager Al Haymon. Showtime may televise the event, with the winner being pit against famed veteran Antonio Tarver (30-6, 21 KOs). Wlodarczyk is also rumored to be fighting European champion Grigory Drozd (38-1, 27 KOs) next.
