Trainer Emanuel Steward has informed BoxingScene.com that his famous Kronk Gym franchise may be heading to New York. Steward is currently in talks to open up a Kronk Gym in New York and to run regular Kronk Gym shows in the New York area.

Steward still plans to keep the main Kronk location in Detroit, Michigan, and run occasional shows. Given the popularity of boxing in the New York area, Steward says there is a good possibility of running more of the Kronk shows in New York, rather than Detroit.
