The terror of Thailand may soon be making his debut in the United States. WBA super bantamweight champion Poonsawat Kratingdaenggym (41-1, 29 KOs) returned to action on Thursday in Masaharakahm, Thailand to score an vicious four round knockout of Shoji Kumura (23-4-2, 9 KOs) of Japan.

International reporter Carlos Costa of philboxing.com was told by Kratingdaenggym’s manager Niwat Laosuwanwat, the president of Galaxy Boxing Promotions, that an agreement was reached with Golden Boy Promotions to have the Thai fighter appear in American rings.

Kratingdaenggym wants to fight former champion Steven Luevano (37-2-1, 15 KOs), a Top Rank fighter, in Las Vegas by end of the year.
