This weekend from the Wisconsin Center in Milwaukee, middleweight hopeful Luis 'Cuba' Arias makes another homecoming by facing Darryl Cunningham for the USBA and USNBC titles.
If he should come out victorious, Arias - who is promoted by RocNation Sports - would like to be placed on the Sergey Kovalev-Andre Ward pay-per-view undercard on November 19th.
"I need to be, I flat out need to be,"stated Arias, earlier this week."I don't want to put no demands on it but it's time because after Saturday it'll be my seventh win for RocNation, which I'm pretty sure I have the most wins out of anybody in the company."
Arias, has a record of 15-0 (7 KO's) but has been frustrated by the fact none of his recent bouts have been televised.
"I've sat still, I've been quiet, I felt like I should've been on television. They should've delivered for me but they haven't. I still kept winning, I still kept doing my part - I think it's time for them to do theirs and they need a good undercard to sell Kovalev-Ward because Kovalev-Ward will not sell on it's own. They need a lot of help on the undercard,"continued Arias, who believes he can help bolster that card (which has yet to be finalized).
"I think putting me in a good fight could definitely help out. That's obviously the ideal plan for them to let me open up on that pay-per-view slot, Kovalev-Ward- if that fight happens."
