Russian top-ranked heavyweight and 2004 Athens Olympics gold medalist Alexander Povetkin (20-0, 15 KOs) was said by some experts to be slightly stagnate in his career as of late. However, the director of KOTV and the head of Primetime PPV Network David McConachie obviously thinks otherwise.

“Alexander Povetkin once again showed why he is one of the world's most feared heavyweights with his text book perfect KO of Nigerian Teke Oruh. The big Russian possesses that quality so rare in heavyweights – blisteringly fast hand speed. I had to play the tape back three times to see the KO punch land. He is undoubtedly a future world heavyweight champion”, was quoted McConachie by Sportbox.ru.

Povetkin’s kayo over Oruh was nominated for 2010 Knockout of the Year by KOTV. The chiller itself took place in Checkov on Oct. 15 and can be viewed here.
