The Icelandic heavyweight Gunnar Kolbeinn Kristinsson and Mike Lehnis of Germany will fight on May 31 in Nuremberg, Germany.

Professional boxing is prohibited in Iceland so the 36-year old Kristinsson, 17-0 (11KOs) and a pro since 2014, has had all of his fights abroad. He fights with a Swedish boxing licence.

Lehnis, also 36 years old, turned pro in 2022 and in a low-profile career has won fights in Austria and Sweden. He is 8-0 (5KOs).

Kristinsson-Lehnis represents a competitive match-up, but it is far from being a world-level fight.
