The World Boxing Association Championships committee has ordered a purse bid to grant the promotional rights to the mandatory title fight between Japaneses Kohei Kono (30-8, 13KOs), 115 lbs world champion and Koki Kameda (32-1, 17KOs), the mandatory challenger of the division.

The bidding will be held on September 17th, at 11 am at he World Boxing Association headquarters, located at Avenida Aquilino de la Guardia, c/c Calle 47, Ocean Business Plaza, floor 14, Office 14-05, Marbella, Panamá, Panamá.

The bidding process will be chaired by the WBA vicepresident and championships chairman, Gilberto Jesús Mendoza.
