In a minor reshuffling of the deck, Rumulo Koasicha and Alejandro 'Payasito' Hernandez will trade places in the Telemundo summer season lineup.
Koasicha will now headline the July 24 edition, as he faces countrymen Guillermo Avila in a bout aptly named 'Guerra Civil' ('Civil War', with both fighters hailing from Mexico). The scheduled 12-round regional title fight tops the bill at Auditorio Blackberry in Mexico City, which—along with Kissimmee (Florida) Civic Center and Tampa's A La Carte Pavilion—has become a series favorite.
“Both of these warriors have been champing at the bit to get in the ring, fighting this weekend only lets them loose that much sooner,” promoter Felix 'Tutico' Zabala Jr. said of the switch.
Hernandez will now top the August 7 edition, at the same venue against an opponent to be determined.
The undercard remains intact, in fact with Martin Casillas now having a confirmed opponent. The bantamweight will face countryman Roberto Pucheta in an all-Mexico co-feature scheduled for eight rounds.
