The manager of IBF/IBO/WBO heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko, Bernd Boente, says he is very happy that Samuel Peter replaced Alexander Povetkin as the opponent for Saturday's clash in Frankfurt, Germany. After the IBF approved Klitschko's request to replace Povetkin with Peter, Boente claims that business picked up for the event and additional television networks approached them to purchase the rights to televise the fight. Povetkin was replaced when he defaulted on signing the bout agreement within the IBF's 15-day period following the official purse bid.

"We are very pleased that after three fights conducted by Wladimir and Vitali Klitschko at the stadiums in Germany, we can now organize such a fight in Frankfurt," Boente told Alexander Pavlov. "We had once planned a similar event, but David Haye withdrew. Therefore, we are very pleased that now a year later we are here, and both fighters are in excellent condition."

"The rights for this fight were purchased by television networks in more than 110 countries. The activity began to show after Povetkin refused to fight. The fight against Peter is much more interesting to the audience, including to those who are Russian and Ukrainian. In the U.S., the right to broadcast the match went to channel ESPN, which has an audience of 93 million viewers, which is three times greater than that of HBO."
