Wladimir Klitschko's manager claims most British fans want to see "loud mouth" David Haye knocked out in Hamburg on Saturday night.

Klitschko and Haye meet in an eagerly-awaited world heavyweight title unification showdown, and the acrimonious build-up already has fight fans at fever pitch.

Now Bernard Boente, manager for Wladimir, has turned up the heat by saying even fans in his own country want to see Haye beaten.

He told talkSPORT: "Wladimir and I were both very surprised how many people in London were congratulating Wladimir for his charming way. They all wished him good luck and said, 'Knock out the loud mouth'."

"We all know that English fans are known for fair play and David Haye is the opposite of all that. I think that's the reason fans don't like him."

Despite his taunts, Boente does admit that WBA king Haye does represent a major threat to Wladimir's IBF, WBO and IBO belts.

But he says that whatever the Briton comes armed with inside the ring on Saturday night, it won't be enough.

"There is no doubt that David Haye is a huge challenge and one of the best opponents that Wladimir has faced in his career. He's a very fast guy, he's a huge puncher, he had a very good amateur career, and Wladimir and his coach do not underestimate David at all.

"Wladimir knows exactly what to expect from David Haye and he knows that he could tell him some nonsense before the first bell or come in the ring with another stupid T-shirt. He knows that he has to be calm and collected and do his job."
