The heavyweight championship event with Vitali Klitschko and Albert Sosnowksi of Poland has sold close to 30,000 tickets. Vitali defends the WBC title against Sosnowski on May 29 at Veltins Arena in Gelsenkirchen, Germany. The big number shows that Vitali and his younger brother Wladimir can bring out the fans against any kind of opponent and the reason why they continue to stage their events in Germany.

"So far we have sold about 30,000 tickets. But there is still time, and also, there is a lot of interest in this fight. We expect to sell around 50 to 55 thousand tickets. I think we are going to have a good crowd," said Bernd Boente, manager of the Klitschko brothers.
