According to the Russian press, there could be a chance the heavyweight title fight between WBC champion Vitali Klitschko and Albert Sosnowski of Poland will not be televised on Polish television. The fight is scheduled for May 29 in Gelsenkirchen.
None of the Polish channels are willing to pay the requested fee of 150,000 euros to carry the event. One Polish channel is willing to go as high as 80,000 euros but the amount does not satsify German television network RTL, which owns the TV rights to broadcast any and all fights involving the Klitschko brothers.
