Klitschko vs Povetkin Receives an IBF Deadline of April 26

BoxingScene.com was advised that the IBF has given the camps of Wladimir Klitschko and Alexander Povetkin a deadline of April 26 to reach a deal or the fight would head to a purse bid. Povetkin became the mandatory challenger to Klitschko's IBF title in 2008. Two weeks ago in Germany, Klitschko knocked out Eddie Chambers to retain the IBF, IBO and WBO heavyweight titles.
