WBC heavyweight champion Vitali Klitschko revealed to Germany publication Bild, that he reached an agreement to face former heavyweight champion Shannon Briggs on October 16 at the O2 World in Hamburg, Germany. The fight will be shown live on German television network RTL.
"I am thrilled that I am finally going to box again in Hamburg. Briggs is a very strong challenger. I'm going to go throught an intense training period to prepare for Briggs with my trainer Fritz Sdunek. He has more professional fights than me and he is one of the hardests punchers [at heavyweight]," Klitschko said.
