IBF/IBO heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko (49-3, 44KOs) told Sports Illustrated that he plans to return to the ring in February at New York's Madison Square Garden (rumored date of Febuary 23).

Klitschko also told the magazine that his camp has initiated talks with representatives of WBO champion Sultan Ibragimov (22-0-17KOs), who recently won a unanimous decision over Evander Holyfield in Moscow. He hopes to make the fight with Ibragimov in order to take the first step towards unifying the heavyweight titles.

"My goal has always been to unite the titles," Klitschko said. "I'm getting tired of the politics though. I want to fight."
