Talks continue for a summer clash between WBO/IBF heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko and challenger David Haye. Haye's manager and trainer says the fight will likely take place in London around the month of June. A number of issues exist and Booth is negotiating to solve them. The biggest appears to be the purse split. Booth would not say too much on the others.
"There's not a lot I can say at the moment because we're right in the middle of the negotiations. We're at the core, the contract stage, and we're going backwards and forwards at the moment. They made no qualms about the fact they wanted to come to London. The sticking points are the first ones we've got to get over and then the loose ends are the ones that can be done quite quickly," Booth told ITV.
If the negotiations with Haye fall apart, don't be surprised to see Klitschko target unbeaten heavyweight contender Chris Arreola.
