IBO/WBO/IBF heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko (55-3, 49KOs) has disagreed with the recent statements that were made by his trainer Emanuel Steward. When interviewed by a British broadcast network, Steward made a prediction that his boxer will finish off David Haye (25-1, 23KOs) in four rounds. Klitschko has other plans in store for the WBA champion. He doesn't want an early knockout. He wants to punish the WBA champion for the entire fight. They will unify their titles on July 2 at the Imtech-Arena in Hamburg, Germany.
"David Haye has done a lot of talking. When we get in the ring, the talking will be over. I'm very motivated by this. I'm going to teach him a lesson over the entire twelve rounds and I will enjoy the entire process. And only at the end of the twelfth round will I grant him the knockout [loss]," Klitschko said.
