International promoter Vladimir Khryunov has announced WBC heavyweight champion Oleg Maskaev's title defense against contender Peter Okhello of Uganda, to take place in Moscow this December.
Russian publication Kommersant, reports that the basic agreements have been attained, including the agreement with Maskaev’s promoter Denis Rappaport, and some portion of money has been paid in advance. It was also said that a few big foreign TV channels will broadcast the bout all over the world.
No definite date has been set. The show will take place on December 10 in Olympiisky Sports Complex or December 23 in Khodynka, if the latter is opened by that day, Khryunov said.
