Frank Warren has restated his desire to make a fight between Kell Brook and Amir Khan.

With Khan struggling to find an opponent for his April 16 date in the UK, Warren has once again suggested he step up to welterweight to face Brook.

"If he wants Kell Brook, then we can make it easily. It's a fight that the British public would love, and unlike some of the opponents that I've heard being mentioned in the last few weeks, Brook is a legitimate contender.

"He's unbeaten, he's number one in the WBO rankings at welterweight, and he's very hungry."

WBA light-welterweight champion Khan has already moved up once in his career from lightweight.

Although he has previously expressed a desire to fight Floyd Mayweather at welterweight, it's unclear whether he wants to move to 147 pounds immediately.
