WBA junior welterweight champion Amir Khan has a feeling that Antonio Margarito may have overtrained for Saturday's clash with Manny Pacquiao at Cowboys Stadium in Arlington, Texas. By watching footage of Margarito in training camp, Khan thinks Margarito may have peaked several weeks ago in training.

Under their mutual trainer Freddie Roach, Khan has been training side by side with Pacquiao for the last few weeks. He is preparing for his big title defense against Marcos Maidana on December 11 at the Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas. He gives Pacquiao the edge to win. He think the Filipino champ should end the fight by TKO in the late rounds. In the worst case scenario, Khan thinks Pacquiao will win by decision if Margarito is in top form.

"I don't know but something tells me Margarito will overtrain. He looked ripped and sharp four weeks ago. It was like he was peaked then...too early," Khan said.
