Amir Khan has brushed off a recent challenge that came from former three division champion 'Sugar' Shane Mosley.
Mosley, 43-years-old, took to the social networks to call Khan out - after the British star lost out on the opportunity to face WBC/WBA welterweight champion Floyd Mayweather Jr. on September 12th at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.
Mosley is coming back on August 29th in a rematch with Ricardo Mayorga. That fight will happen at a catch-weight of 157-pounds.
Khan is a big fan of Mosley's career and says a possible fight between the two of them will never happen.
"I think Shane just wants to cash in. I don’t want to fight Shane because I’m a fan of him and I don’t want to give him a beating. I want to remember Shane’s a fighter who fought the best. If I fight him and beat him I won’t get the credit for it. It will never, ever happen. I can’t believe he’s even calling me out! I’m not sure if he needs the money, he must be desperate," Khan told Sport360.
