On November 30th in the United States, 36-year-old Dominican boxer Joan Guzman (33-0-1, 20KOs) will face Khabib Allakhverdiev (17-0, 8KOs) of Russia. The fight is going to take place in Miami, Florida. The Russian fighter has no problem with fighting Guzman in Miami. Khabib has several fights in the United States early on in his career and he doesn't care about Guzman's experience. He only cares about the opportunity to fight for a major championship.

"A couple of weeks ago, we learned that we were going to fight with Joan Guzman and began training. For me, Miami - it's like a second home (laughs). Because I lived there for four years, had seven fights [in the United States]. I know the fight the battle is going to bring out a lot of my compatriots who live in the U.S.. And, of course, some [of my fans] from Russia will come over. So I'm not worried about support. Who I'm going to fight doesn't matter to me. In December, I will be 30 years old, and it's time to fight with everyone, including the best out there.....this is not the time to pick and choose opponents," Khabib said.

"As soon as we get the visa [we'll travel over]. In early November, we'll take a flight to the United States. A month is just enough for acclimatization, to get proper sparring and to regulate my weight."
